Consumer Price Index Development in Sumbawa Regency December 2024

In December 2024, there were price developments across various commodities. Based on monitoring by BPS (Statistics Indonesia) in Sumbawa Regency, December 2024 there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of 0.08 percent, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rising from 106.92 in December 2023 to 107.01 in December 2024. The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 0.62 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 0.08 percent.

Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices across nearly all expenditure group indexes, namely: clothing and footwear by 0.95 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel by 0.47 percent; household equipment, appliances, and routine household maintenance by 0.59 percent; health by 1.43 percent; transportation by 0.14 percent; recreation, sports and culture by 5.46 percent; education by 0.75 percent; food and beverage services/restaurants by 0.89 percent; and personal care and other services by 8.41 percent.
