Abstract

In November 2024, there were price developments across various commodities. Based on monitoring by BPS (Statistics Indonesia) in Sumbawa Regency, November 2024 there was a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of 0.64 percent, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rising from 105.67 in November 2023 to 106.35 in November 2024. The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 0.58 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.53 percent.

The year-on-year inflation was driven by price increases across nearly all expenditure group indexes, namely: clothing and footwear by 0.70 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel by 0.12 percent; household equipment, appliances, and routine household maintenance by 0.70 percent; health by 1.26 percent; transportation by 0.25 percent; recreation, sports and culture by 5.46 percent; education by 0.75 percent; food and beverage services/restaurants by 0.89 percent; and personal care and other services by 9.18 percent.
