Abstract
The 1st Quartile CCI was 104,75, this gives the interpretation that the consumers felt that the economic condition is a little bit better than the Q4-2017 (Index 105,81).
The confidence was based on the increase of Inflation Effect on Consumption Index (106,14); Current Household Income Index (104,97); and a slight increase on Consumption Volume Index (102,49).
The consumers estimate that the economic condition in the next quartile will be much better than the Q1-2018 with the upcoming CCI 117,81.
The consumer’s income in the Q2-2018 will rise significantly as bonuses and incentives were usually given on Idul Fitri feast. The Upcoming Income Index was 131,80 underpinned by the events that will occur in the Q2-2018.
There was a tendency that the consumer will wait and see on buying durable goods in the Q2-2018 with Index 93,28.
